Bruce long ago discovered that the Other Guy can occasionally bleed through his subconscious, even when he’s not “hulking out.” It’s usually fairly clear when he does, as Bruce will randomly get angry, violent, and his voice will deepen. However, one thing he recently discovered is that it can also go the other way around. Sometimes his personality bleeds through the Other Guy’s. One of the most obvious evidences of this, is that big guy seems to have the same feelings towards people as Bruce. When Bruce started to think Tony’s not too bad a guy, Hulk responded and saved Tony during the Chitauri invasion. Bruce wasn’t fond of Natasha, and so Hulk went after her.
One of the few exceptions is Thor. While Bruce has become friends with the Asgardian, for some reason the Other Guy still isn’t very fond of him, and - though he will fight beside him - he will end up throwing him through a wall any chance he gets.
