Tony is Darcy’s biological father
It was found out during a S.H.E.I.L.D.-wide health screening(blood test included) and much confusion was shared by all. It turns out, sometime in the eighties, during Tony’s *ahem* wild years he received a letter from Darcy’s mother two months after a weekend with her, telling him of her ‘problem’ and that she ‘had it taken care of’, and Tony put it out of his mind. This led to a lot of tension amongst the team and some unavoidable arguments with Pepper, Steve, and surprisingly Coulson(in reference to entry #365).
Darcy meanwhile, is taking everything in stride, comfortable in the fact that while her birth-mother might not have wanted her, she was fortunate to have two parents who loved her enough to adopt and raise her as their own. And now she had Tony, she wasn’t sure where they stood or what their relationship would turn into, but now they knew and neither of them were going anywhere.
