Jane Foster starts working at SHIELD a few months after the battle. For whatever reason, she brings Darcy Lewis with her.
They meet Maria at a local restaurant for an informal orientation. Jane makes Darcy promise to be on her best behavior, because she really, really doesn’t want to lose this job.
Darcy doesn’t listen, of course. She never does.
(Jane keeps the job, thankfully.)
