Natasha still does occasional work as Pepper’s secretary, filling in when Pepper’s regular secretary is sick. On one such day, they’re at a board meeting when one of the stockholders starts talking down to Pepper, treating her like a dumb girl who can’t understand buisness. Natasha wants to lunge across the table and rip his throat out, but before she can, Pepper starts talking.
The man is an emotional wreck in less than a minute, and Pepper looks like the cat that ate the cream. Natasha takes her out for coffee, afterwards.
